FutureReady
Our FutureReady Summer Program is a dynamic youth enrichment initiative by the Bhutanese
Community of Central Ohio featuring two unique summer programs designed to help students
explore their passions, build confidence, and develop real-world skills through creativity,
leadership, business, and STEM learning.
Our Arts & Exploration Program is a 2-day experience for elementary and middle school
students focused on creativity, connection, and discovery. Participants will engage in hands-on
art activities, interactive workshops, local field trips, and everyday life-skill development while
exploring their interests and building friendships in a fun and supportive environment.
Our Young Entrepreneurs Program is a 3-week program held 3 days a week for students of all
ages who are interested in business, innovation, technology, and leadership. Youth will learn
how to develop their own business ideas, create products, build branding and marketing
strategies, explore STEM concepts, and work on real business proposals while collaborating with
mentors and peers. The program encourages creativity, critical thinking, entrepreneurship, and
problem-solving through hands-on projects and interactive learning.
At the end of the summer, participants from both programs will come together for a Youth
Market Showcase, where they will have the opportunity to display and sell the artwork, products,
and businesses they have created, showcasing the skills and knowledge they have gained
throughout the program.
In addition to our summer programming, FutureReady also offers a year-round Mentorship &
Tutoring Program for students in 6th–12th grade. The program provides academic support in all
subject areas through trained tutors and mentors who have completed background checks.
Sessions are designed to meet the needs of each family and can take place at local libraries or in
the home based on family preferences. Our goal is to provide students with consistent academic
support, mentorship, and encouragement throughout the school year to help them succeed both
inside and outside the classroom.
