Food and Agricultural Program
BCCO’s Food and Agricultural Program engages newly arrived families in food & farming projects by providing them access to fresh produce and a garden plot. The program improves their agricultural skills through workshops and 1:1 technical assistance on production & marketing, fosters community integration, contributes to their overall physical, mental and psychosocial well-being, and promotes healthy eating.
Priority: Newly arrived refugee, SIV, and asylee families, who have been in the US for less than 5 years or are not yet a naturalized citizen.
